Home made mashed potatoes

My daughter wants to have mashed potato for dinner tonight, so I decided to make freshly from kitchen as those from fast food are filled with artificial preservatives. Here's a simple and easy way to make fresh mashed potatoes!

Ingredients:
  • 8 to 10 peeled organic baby potatoes
  • half cup of fresh milk
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • some salt and pepper
  • minced fresh basil leaves (optional but it does taste so much better esp. using fresh ones)

  Methods:
  1. Boil a pot of water and add little salt
  2. Put potatoes in when water comes to boil
  3. Make sure potatoes are well cooked and soft by piercing with a fork
  4. Mash those potatoes with a blender or if not by hand using a spatula
  5. Add 1 tbsp of butter on a heated saucepan, bring in the mashed potatoes
  6. Pour half cup of milk and blend well together over low heat
  7. Sprinkle a dash of salt and pepper ( amount depends on your preference)
  8. Mix minced fresh bail leaves with mashed potatotes
  9. Ready to serve
