Roasted honey chicken


Recalled the first time my helper came to our family, she knew little about cooking.
But now she's fully equipped with Asian n western cuisine.
Roasted chicken is one of her favourite entree she would prepare when she's running short of time. It seems complicated to many but if you have a good oven at home, nothing else is difficult. All you need to do is to prepare the chicken, stove it into an oven; sit back and relax. It's just that simple. 


Ingredients:
- approximately 1kg chicken
-garlic gloves
-one stalk of spring onions
- one stalk of lemon grass
- black pepper powder
- sea salt
-butter
-lemon garlic powder
- basil powder
-Honey
-toothpick

Preparations
Wash chicken by rubbing salt into the skin and inside the chicken
Rinse with water
Rub some salt inside the chicken
Stuff in the peeled garlic gloves,
Bend n tie a knot using the spring onion
Do the same for Lemon grass
Put a tbsp of butter inside the chicken after stuffing in those ingredients

For the external surface of chicken
Rub the skin with butter thoroughly using your palm
( be generous in using butter)
Sprinkle sea salt all over the chicken n n rub again to blend with the butter coated
Lastly brushed a thin layer of honey on the chicken skin
Sprinkle black pepper, lemongarlic powder, basil powder


Brush oven dish with olive oil 
Put the chicken in a oven safe dish
Stove it in an oven
Use roast mode and roast for 20mins
Turn the chicken over and roast for another 10mins
You will need to check constantly during the last 5 mins

Serve with salad or baked potatoes
