Pepper salt pork chop 椒鹽豬扒

A deliciously simple dish to cook with the taste of a restaurant standard. Why waste money eating in a noisy crowded place when you can enjoy peacefully at the comfort of your home. Best serve with freshly cooked rice.

You must be wondering why pork served in restaurants has an unusual texture, always tender and juicy. Here's the tips in cooking meat especially pork, always add baking soda powder or bi-carbonated soda to tenderize the meat.

  • Seasoning for pork chop:
  • 1 tbsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1/2 tbsp of pepper salt
  • 1 tsp of bi-carbonated of soda powder

  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped red chillies
  • 4 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 spring onion, diced
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • Capsicum diced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon pepper salt

  • Methods

If you have deep fryer or add more oil when frying, the pork chop will turn out crispier and nicer than mine. ( Stingy with my cooking oil ;p)
